I was Born in Boston in 1964, moved to Hollis in 1968. I attended Hollis elementary and middle school until 6th grade where I met a bunch of you as my classmates. Then in 7th grade I was off to Maine and Lawrence Academy until my Junior year when I returned to Hollis High, I guess all that back and forth that makes me a transient classmate, but still a classmate. I graduated from Hollis High in ‘83 (with all of you), and then graduated from UNH in 1987. I worked at the Woodshed restaurant in Moutonboro NH until 1989, where I fell in love with cooking. Really all parts of cooking planning the menu, making up the menu, getting the best ingredients, pairing it with wine etc. Then I moved to Washington DC while working for Computer Sciences Corporation and set up a house rental business with my sister. During that adventure I met my wife Elinor. In 1996, I got my MBA from George Washington University and I moved to NYC to get married and be with my wife. Then I started working for Morgan Stanley in November of 1999 until 2011 when I moved to Bridgewater Associates (if you have never heard of this place google it, I promise an interesting read and I can tell you all about it). I returned to Morgan Stanley in 2017 and work there now. Elinor and I have two great kids, my son Matthew and daughter Haylee. Matt is a Jr/Sr at University of Maine and just had a great summer experience at Cintas as an intern and living in Brunswick ME. My daughter Haylee is a rising sophomore at American University as a chem major (wow)! My interests include antiques, decoys, cooking, cars, supporting a not for profit and hopefully tennis (as my shoulder permits).
